This is my biggest project to date. Compared to my last project I've added backgrounds, better shading, perspective, lighting effects, and I had to draw Octavia without a direct reference.

Despite all the additions in this piece, it only took about 2/3rds of the time required for my previous piece. Overall a whooping 17 hours went into this piece, and I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks to all those who joined me in the livestreams, and if you missed them, I'll try to remember to post journals for my streams in the future.

Sure there are things I'd like to improve, namely the flat background, but for this piece I feel it sets the tone and atmosphere I was looking for.

The idea behind this piece was simply Octavia practicing in an empty concert hall, with Scratch watching in the box seat, but you can interpret it however you'd like.

Tips, hint, and critiques are always welcome! I look forward to me next project, which I will tackle once Finals are over.

With the right screen angle, those two mini-chandeliers on either side look like two sinister sets of big yellow eyes with black slits for pupils.
